We have here a tested and working TI 99/4A home computer, manufactured from 1981-1983, a fun and fascinating machine from the early days of home computing. Featuring 16K of built-in RAM, 16 colors, 32-column text display, 3-channel sound, and expandability options including disk drives, printers, modems, and even modern homebrew options.
This console has been tested by us, and works great. The keyboard response is good. It includes a power supply and the original RF modulator for connection to older model TVs. (Adapters and cables are available online for hooking up to composite monitors, cable-ready TVs, and even modern HDMI inputs).
Also included are the "Read this First," "User's Reference Guide," and "Beginner's BASIC" manuals, all in fair condition.
I'm throwing in three tested game cartridges, arguably the hottest must-have games of the classic era: MunchMan, TI Invaders, and Parsec.
The TV IS NOT INCLUDED and is shown to demonstrate the computer.
